SAUCE TECHNOLOGIES
§ 08·Legal·Privacy

Privacy policy.

Effective 1 June 2026·Sauce Technologies LLC·Libertyville, IL

The short version: we collect only what we need to talk to you and run an engagement, we don’t sell it, and you can ask us to delete it. The long version is below.

This policy explains what information Sauce Technologies LLC (“Sauce,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit saucetech.io or work with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We’re based in Libertyville, Illinois, and serve clients in the United States.

01What we collect

We keep this deliberately small. We collect:

  • What you send us. Your name, email, company, phone (if you give it), and whatever you write in a booking or contact form.
  • Engagement information. If we work together, the documents, data, and access you share with us so we can do the work, governed by our engagement agreement, not just this policy.
  • Basic usage data. Standard server and analytics information (pages visited, referring site, approximate location, device and browser type) used in aggregate to understand what’s useful.

We do not ask for, and ask that you not send, sensitive personal data (government IDs, payment card numbers, health records) through the website forms.

02How we use it

We use what we collect to:

  • Reply to you and schedule a call.
  • Scope, deliver, and support an engagement.
  • Send you something you explicitly asked for: a guide, a proposal, a follow-up.
  • Understand site usage and improve what we publish.
  • Meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not run advertising profiles, and we do not use your engagement data to train third-party models.

03Who we share with

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business, and only as needed:

  • Scheduling. Calendly, to book and manage calls.
  • Data & forms. Our backend and CRM, to store the message you sent and track the relationship.
  • Email. Our email provider, to reply to you.
  • Analytics & hosting. The infrastructure that serves the site.

Each of these processes data on our behalf under their own terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, but that’s the exception, not the routine.

04How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for as long as there’s an active conversation, and for a reasonable period after in case you come back. Engagement records are kept for the life of the engagement plus the period our accountants and contracts require. When data is no longer needed, we delete it, or you can ask us to (see your rights, below).

05Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can opt out of any non-essential email at any time. To exercise any of this, email contact@saucetech.io; a real person will handle it, usually within a few business days.

06Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure usage in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work. We don’t use cookies to build advertising profiles.

07Security

We protect information with reasonable technical and organizational measures, and we hold the providers we use to the same standard. No system is perfectly secure, but security (defending the records and decisions a business runs on) is part of what we do for a living, and we apply that to ourselves.

08Contact & changes

Questions about this policy, or about anything we hold? Email contact@saucetech.io or call (847) 512-4740. We’re at Libertyville, Illinois.

If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, note it on the site. Your continued use of saucetech.io after a change means you accept the updated policy.
